Albury Parish Council is the official website of the parish council including Albury, Albury Heath, Brook, Farley Green, Little London and Newlands Corner. They used our Document Library Pro plugin to list documents on their website.

How our plugin solved their problem

Albury Parish Council needed a way to list documents on their website for transparency and accountability, and to comply with legal requirements. They wanted a solution that would let them list different documents in a table layout so users can easily access them.

They’ve used the Document Library Pro plugin to list documents in a table layout on their Document Library page. The table has 3 columns – Title, Date, and Link.

Users can browse the document library to find the document or file they want to access. They can click on the title to navigate to the document’s page to view the document or click the magnifying glass icon in the Link column to preview the document in a lightbox on the same page.

Users can also click the columns in the table to sort the documents in alphabetical or reverse alphabetical order, or by date (new to old or old to new).

The document library table has pagination options directly under it that lets users see more documents. It also lets users select how many documents they want to see per page.

Stu Bevan a councillor of Albury Parish Council says:

“[Document Library Pro is] easy to use with really good documentation. The meta data filters make it easy to maintain current lists. On the few times I’ve had to contact support the team have been really responsive.”

Many merchants are searching for a way to integrate their retail and wholesale options into a single ecommerce shop. That's how Zoop, a Lithuanian apparel and homewares shop, came to find Barn2's WooCommerce Bulk Variations plugin.

How our plugins solved their problems

Zoop specializes in custom printing and bulk orders, but they needed a way to make the shopping experience quick and seamless for all of their different customers, no matter the size of their order. Using the Bulk Variations interface, their customers can order anything from a single t-shirt to hundreds of items in various sizes and colors. It also had an immediate positive impact on their order volumes:

With WooCommerce Bulk Variations we started receiving larger orders from our customers as it makes it very easy to order in bulk.

Zoop team

Zoop's wholesale customers can also benefit from bulk discounts that allow them to save more money on larger orders. These savings are powered by our WooCommerce Discount Manager plugin, and are displayed in a table format on product pages for everyone to see.

They also use WooCommerce Product Options to allow custom image uploads from clients who want a logo or design printed on their products.

It saves us a lot of time that we previously spent emailing our client back and forth until we finally got all the required information to proceed with the order.

La Soufflerie is a family-owned and operated glass shop based in Paris, France. They sell a full range of glassware along with plaster, terracotta pieces, and candles. They’ve used our WooCommerce Fast Cart plugin to help customers complete their orders quickly without leaving the page.

How our plugin solved their problem

La Soufflerie were looking for a way to make it easier for customers to quickly complete their orders. They wanted a solution that would let them display upsells – like gift bags – that customers actually want.

They used the WooCommerce Fast Cart plugin to display a pop-up cart whenever a customer clicks the Add to Cart button. The pop-up cart appears on the right-hand side of the screen and shows the cart items, coupon code box, subtotal, shipping options, checkout button, and upsells.

La Soufflerie wanted to use the pop-up cart to display carefully chosen upsell offers based on the products customers add to their cart. For example, if a customer adds a Bordeaux Baby Transparent to their cart, they’ll see a You might be interested in… section in the pop-up cart with the Cotton Gift Bag Small product as an upsell.

This enables La Soufflerie to enhance the shopping experience, streamline the buying process, and boost their average order value.

Users can go to any product category page and add products to their cart without leaving the page. They can then view the cart in a pop-up and add a gift bag to their order, checkout, or keep shopping. Customers can also click the cart icon in the menu to view the pop-up cart.

La Soufflerie uses the WooCommerce Fast Cart plugin to enhance the customer’s shopping experience while boosting product visibility and increasing their average order value.

Musamax is a music licensing company that sells background music tracks for YouTube or TikTok videos, podcasts, Facebook or Instagram, advertising, or any other kind of video or multimedia project. They’ve used our WooCommerce Product Table plugin to list music tracks in a table with buying options.

How our plugin solved their problem

Musamax were looking for a way to list music tracks in a neat layout on their website to make it easy for users to find the perfect tracks for their projects. They wanted a solution that would let them list music tracks in a table layout and give users the option to listen to each track, view details, and add it to their cart.

They used the WooCommerce Product Table plugin to list music tracks in a table along with details for each track. The table has 10 columns – play button, Title, Artist, Genre, Mood, Duration, Bpm, price, share button and add to wishlist, and add to cart button.

Users can listen to the music track, share it on social media platforms, add it to their wishlist, and add it to their cart, directly from the table. In addition to this, users can click the artist’s name to see all music tracks by that artist.

Musamax uses the WooCommerce Product Table plugin to create several tables on their website. The homepage, for example, lists the most popular music tracks. Users can go to the Royalty Free Music page to see the full list of music tracks.

The page also has a search bar above the table and filtering options in the left sidebar. This makes it easier for users to narrow down their search. Users can apply multiple filters at a time. In addition to this, users can use the filter dropdowns above the table to only view music tracks from specific genres or moods. You can add sophisticated filters like this to your product tables using a plugin like WooCommerce Product Filters.

When a user clicks the Buy button, they’re prompted to choose a license before they can add the music track to their cart.

Replacement-Glass.com sells wood-burning stoves, flues, and custom-cut replacement stove glass across the UK. Every piece of glass is a different size, so pricing each one accurately used to be a real challenge. With WooCommerce Product Options, the team now calculates exact prices on the fly - right on the product page.

The challenge: pricing thousands of custom sizes

The cost of each piece of glass depends on far more than just its dimensions. Material costs, staffing time, packaging, wastage, and board margins all play a role. However, the team previously relied on basic custom code on a different platform. "It wasn't doing half the things that we're doing now," said Richard Fewings, who manages the site.

As a result, pricing was inconsistent. Some sizes were overpriced while others were sold at a loss.

The solution: Excel-style formulas on the product page

WooCommerce Product Options allowed Richard to replicate the company's Excel pricing model directly on the website. Customers enter their glass dimensions, and the formula engine calculates an accurate price instantly.

One especially useful feature is the ability to break complex calculations into smaller, reusable components. Individual variables hold the cost of each material - glue, foam, box sizes, staffing time. When a cost changes, anyone on the team can update that one value and the whole formula recalculates. "You can take the complexity out," Richard explained. "It's a really simple way of just repricing."

Because the price goes straight to the basket, customers get a seamless experience with no quoting step.

You would not believe how complicated the formula is that we've got. But if we can do it, you can pretty much achieve anything.

Myddfai Trading Company, a Welsh social enterprise producing premium toiletries and home fragrance products, faced a critical problem: their WordPress site was running over 60 plugins. This extreme plugin bloat created constant conflicts and expensive custom development. When redesigning with a bilingual English/Welsh interface, they needed a complete rethink.

The challenge: reducing 60+ plugins to a manageable setup

By 2020, Myddfai's site was running over 60 plugins - creating constant conflicts and a maintenance nightmare.

"The level of custom development needed to keep everything working together had become too difficult and expensive to maintain," explains Paul Long, Retail & E-commerce Manager.

For their redesign, Myddfai sought a single provider whose tools would work seamlessly together and be fully compatible with WPML. Barn2's All Access Pass provided the solution, with five core plugins handling their retail and wholesale needs.

Results: streamlined operations and better customer experience

Barn2's integrated plugins transformed Myddfai's operations. Retail customers now see only retail products and pricing, while trade customers automatically access wholesale-specific pricing through WooCommerce Wholesale Pro.

WooCommerce Product Table revolutionised phone orders, enabling staff to process orders quickly with automatic order history recall. WooCommerce Product Tabs eliminated duplication by allowing standardised tabs (like "Candle Safety") to apply across multiple products.

Extrude-A-Trim is an aluminum extrusions store that sells thousands of products on its online store. They’ve used our WooCommerce Product Table plugin to create order forms for technical products including angles, tubes, slatwall, dividers, and others.

How our plugin solved their problem

Extrude-A-Trim needed a way to make it easier for customers to find the correct products quickly and add them to their shopping cart. They used WooCommerce Product Table to create order forms for each category page on their online store.

The order form layout allows them to list aluminum extrusions with extra data about each product such as its part #, width, height, thickness, and weight. This makes it easy for customers to find the correct product quickly.

In addition, the order forms let customers select the finish, length, and quantity of the aluminum extrusions they need and add multiple products to their quote from a single page.

WooCommerce Product Table also adds a search bar above the order form which allows customers to search for a specific product e.g. by entering its Part #. For example, let’s say a customer wants to buy a few different types of Aluminum Slatwall. They can simply go to the product category page and use the order form to:

  • Select the exact type of aluminum slatwall they need
  • Select finish, length, and quantity
  • Request a quote for each item

WooCommerce Product Table is ideal for selling technical products like aluminum extrusions where customers make purchases based on the extra data about each product. Large images of the products aren’t needed for stores that sell technical products like these. Instead, store owners need to be able to display this extra data about each product on the shop page to make it easy for customers to buy from them.

Extrude-A-Trim enabled the product table layout globally through their shop and category pages. They use WooCommerce Product Table with YITH's Request a Quote plugin to replace the add to cart button with Add to Quote buttons in the order forms.

goodegg is a New Zealand-based ecommerce store that sells printers, ink cartridges, and toner. They use our WooCommerce Product Filters plugin to help customers find the correct printer cartridges and toner for their printers.

How our plugin solved their problem

goodegg wanted to make it easier for customers to narrow down their search and find the correct printer cartridges and toners for their printers.

They used our WooCommerce Product Filters plugin to show product filter options in the sidebar on their category pages.

When a customer visits a product category page, they initially see the hundreds of products and some product filter options in the sidebar to the left. Customers can use the filter options to only see products from a specific printer brand, search for a specific product, sort the products by a variety of parameters, or narrow down their search by product type, colour, and yield.

For instance, a customer might want to see printer cartridges from the brand Brother that are Genuine, in the colour Black, High Yield, and sorted by price high to low.

When they apply a product filter, the product category page updates dynamically (without a page refresh) to show all the products that fit the user’s selection.

The product filters make it easy for customers to narrow down their search and see the products that work with their printer. This helps goodegg to optimize product discovery for customers, simplifying the process of adding items to the cart.

Beer Drive Thru is a brewery online store that sells beers and ciders online to customers in England, Scotland, and Wales. They used our bestselling WooCommerce Product Table plugin to let customers place orders online using a one-page order form.

The brewery set up two different pages – Brewery Click ‘n’ Collect / Local Delivery and Nationwide Home Delivery – to give their customers the option to either collect orders from the store or have them delivered to their doorstep.

Both pages have a similar one-page order form with a few differences. The beer and cider prices and minimum beer pints customers can order vary for local delivery and nationwide home delivery.

Customers can view details about each beer or cider including an image, product name, tasting notes, and price. Next, they can choose how many pints they’d like to place an order for using the variations dropdown (for beers) or the quantity selector (for ciders).

Beers are available in different pint options including 2 pint bottles, 4 pint bottles, 9 pint bag in box, 18 pint bag in box, and 36 pint bag in box. Ciders are added as simple products, each approximately 2.6 pint bottles.

Customers can simply select the variation they’d like to purchase or set the quantity and click the Add to cart button to add the beers and ciders to their shopping cart.

The owner of Beer Drive Thru, Dave Turner, was delighted with how easy it was to use WooCommerce Product Table to set up a one-page beer order form for both shop pages. He followed our in-depth tutorial closely which allowed him to quickly set up a brewery online store without having to code.
