The fast cart isn't appearing!

If you have installed WooCommerce Fast Cart but the popup cart is not appearing, please check the following:

  1. Have you activated your license key?The fast cart will only appear after you have done this.
  2. Is WooCommerce redirecting to the cart page?WooCommerce has a setting that sends customers straight to the cart page whenever they add a product. When this is enabled, customers are taken to the cart page instead of seeing the Fast Cart popup, so it can look as though Fast Cart is not working. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Products → General and make sure 'Redirect to the cart page after successful addition' is unticked.
  3. Have you set up the plugin correctlyIf you are expecting the fast cart to open automatically, then go to the plugin settings page and make sure the 'Auto open' setting is enabled.
  4. Are you using a caching plugin?Caching can prevent Fast Cart from updating correctly, especially for logged-out (guest) visitors. If a cached version of the page is served, the cart cannot update on the fly, so it can appear empty even after a product has been added. Clear your cache first, then adjust your caching settings so the cart stays dynamic: exclude the cart, checkout and any AJAX requests from caching; avoid serving cached pages to logged-out visitors who have items in their cart (many caching plugins do this automatically, and some have a WooCommerce option or a 'cart fragments' setting to keep enabled); and clear any server-level cache and CDN cache, such as Cloudflare. The exact setting names vary between caching plugins - the most popular are WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, WP Super Cache and W3 Total Cache. If you are not sure which setting to change, let us know which caching plugin you are using and we will point you to the right place.
  5. Are you using an out of date browser?WooCommerce Fast Cart works with all modern browsers but if you are using a browser that is no longer supported - particularly Internet Explorer - then it will not work. If this happens, then nothing will appear broken on your website. Instead, anyone who is using an unsupported browser will be directed to the standard WooCommerce cart and checkout pages instead.
