Can I use analytics to track how people are using the filters?

You can use the WooCommerce Product Filters plugin with most analytics tools to analyze how people are using the filters and use this information to improve your store. For example, this is a good way to find out which options people are clicking on.

When the customer uses the filters, the results have a unique URL which can appear in analytics tools like Google Analytics along with the other URL's on your site. The URL is in this format:

https://[your-website.com]/?_wcf_filter=true&color=82&_paged=1

The ?_wcf_filter=true part of the URL indicates that this URL is a filter results page, so you can use your analytics tool to create a custom report which only includes URL's containing this value. This allows you to view the filter URL's separately from the other pages on your site.

color=82 in the above example means that this customer has filtered by the color attribute with ID 82. This allows you to see how many customers filtered for each option.
