The Foiling Collective is a UK-based surf school and shop that sells foil lessons, foil coaching, and foiling equipment as well as wing and kite repairs. They’ve used our WooCommerce Product Options plugin to show additional product options based on the customer’s selection on the single product page.

How our plugin solved their problem

The Foiling Collective were looking for a way to optimize their product pages and improve the customer experience. More specifically, they needed a way to add upsells, show add-ons, and display additional options on the single product page.

They used the WooCommerce Product Options plugin to show additional product options based on the customer’s selection.

So, when a customer visits their single product page, they can buy the product as-is or add a front wing. There are two types of front wings available – Sonar MA Front Wings and Sonar HA Front Wings. Customers can tick the checkbox to see the front wings available for each type and add them to their order from the single product page.

This way, customers don’t have to navigate to a separate page to buy compatible front wings for the product they’re viewing. This enhances the customer experience and reduces friction in the purchasing process.

They’ve achieved this by adding checkboxes to the product page and using conditional logic to display additional product image buttons depending on which checkboxes the customer selects.

For a different product, they’ve used the dropdown select field type to let customers select a foil size, add an aluminum mast, and add carbon mast. This helps improve product visibility and show many products without taking up too much on-screen real estate.

In addition to this, each dropdown selection shows an image and the product title which makes it easier for customers to pick the correct option.

Albury Parish Council is the official website of the parish council including Albury, Albury Heath, Brook, Farley Green, Little London and Newlands Corner. They used our Document Library Pro plugin to list documents on their website.

How our plugin solved their problem

Albury Parish Council needed a way to list documents on their website for transparency and accountability, and to comply with legal requirements. They wanted a solution that would let them list different documents in a table layout so users can easily access them.

They’ve used the Document Library Pro plugin to list documents in a table layout on their Document Library page. The table has 3 columns – Title, Date, and Link.

Users can browse the document library to find the document or file they want to access. They can click on the title to navigate to the document’s page to view the document or click the magnifying glass icon in the Link column to preview the document in a lightbox on the same page.

Users can also click the columns in the table to sort the documents in alphabetical or reverse alphabetical order, or by date (new to old or old to new).

The document library table has pagination options directly under it that lets users see more documents. It also lets users select how many documents they want to see per page.

Stu Bevan a councillor of Albury Parish Council says:

“[Document Library Pro is] easy to use with really good documentation. The meta data filters make it easy to maintain current lists. On the few times I’ve had to contact support the team have been really responsive.”

Musamax is a music licensing company that sells background music tracks for YouTube or TikTok videos, podcasts, Facebook or Instagram, advertising, or any other kind of video or multimedia project. They’ve used our WooCommerce Product Table plugin to list music tracks in a table with buying options.

How our plugin solved their problem

Musamax were looking for a way to list music tracks in a neat layout on their website to make it easy for users to find the perfect tracks for their projects. They wanted a solution that would let them list music tracks in a table layout and give users the option to listen to each track, view details, and add it to their cart.

They used the WooCommerce Product Table plugin to list music tracks in a table along with details for each track. The table has 10 columns – play button, Title, Artist, Genre, Mood, Duration, Bpm, price, share button and add to wishlist, and add to cart button.

Users can listen to the music track, share it on social media platforms, add it to their wishlist, and add it to their cart, directly from the table. In addition to this, users can click the artist’s name to see all music tracks by that artist.

Musamax uses the WooCommerce Product Table plugin to create several tables on their website. The homepage, for example, lists the most popular music tracks. Users can go to the Royalty Free Music page to see the full list of music tracks.

The page also has a search bar above the table and filtering options in the left sidebar. This makes it easier for users to narrow down their search. Users can apply multiple filters at a time. In addition to this, users can use the filter dropdowns above the table to only view music tracks from specific genres or moods. You can add sophisticated filters like this to your product tables using a plugin like WooCommerce Product Filters.

When a user clicks the Buy button, they’re prompted to choose a license before they can add the music track to their cart.

CE Dojo is an online learning website that provides compulsory compliance-based continuing education for doctors. They’ve used our Document Library Pro plugin to list resources in their online courses.

How our plugin solved their problem

CE Dojo were looking for a way to list resources for each online course on their website. They used the LearnDash plugin to create the online courses, and needed a way to share a list of resources for each course with their learners.

Check out our tutorial on how to list LearnDash courses and lessons for full instructions and ideas.

They’ve used the Folder layout option in Document Library Pro to display 1 folder of resources for each online course. In terms of the user interface, a yellow folder appears closed on the online course page when a student accesses the page. They can then click on it to view the resources inside.

This implementation saves space while making everything easily accessible for the student. Students can view the course description, video lesson, assessments, and resources on a single page. The information is deliberately presented in a compact way to improve the user experience and ensure learners can manage what’s available.

The Course Reference Library contains a single folder for each online course which contains a list of resources relevant to the course. The document library contains four columns including Title, Summary, Categories, and Link. Learners can click on the titles of the resources in the document library to view them or click the Download button to download the resource.

How our plugin solved their problem

VCOP were looking for a way to show their latest downloadable resources in a grid layout on the homepage to entice site visitors to sign up for a paid membership plan. This involved showing some information about the downloadable resource along with a Download button on the home page.
