How does the sidebar work in my wholesale area?
The WooCommerce Wholesale Pro plugin uses the same sidebar as the rest of your store.
The sidebar widgets will only show categories and products that each user has access to, based on your visibility settings. This means that while you will have the same widgets in the public and wholesale areas, they can show different products.
If you add the filter widgets which have 'Wholesale Store' before their name, then these will appear in both the public shop and the wholesale area.
If you want to show different widgets to public and wholesale customers, then you can do this with a plugin that allows you to control the visibility of widgets based on user role. For example, the premium version of Widget Options has this feature.
