How to set documents to expire and remove them from the library

You can use the Document Library Pro plugin to set an expiry date for documents, so that they are automatically removed from the library on a set date.

On the Add/Edit Document page, simply select the date that you would like it to expire. On this date, it will be changed to 'Draft' status and therefore removed from the website.

Note: This will only remove items if you are only displaying items with a Published status, as this is the default in the table. If you have set up your table to include items with additional statuses, then it will affect whether the items are hidden after they expire.
