Comparison: Posts Table Pro and Document Library Pro plugins
We have two dynamic WordPress table plugins, each designed to meet a specific need:
- Posts Table Pro is our generic table plugin, perfect for listing WordPress pages, posts, or any custom post type (products, documents, jobs, members, events, etc.). While you can create your own 'Documents' custom post type and use Posts Table Pro to display the documents, it doesn't have the extra features that you may require for a document library.
- Document Library Pro is our dedicated document library plugin. It is purpose-built for this use cases and has everything you need to add and display documents. While it displays the documents in a table just like Posts Table Pro, it has many extra features that are specific to document libraries. This includes a built-in 'Documents' custom post type, document importers, download links, file type icons, the file type and file size columns, and the ability to list documents in collapsible folders.
