We test our plugins regularly against the latest WordPress themes, and aim to support as many themes as possible. However, given the size and scope of the theme marketplace, it's not possible to guarantee compatibility with all themes.
Recommended themes
We regularly test all our plugins with the following themes and guarantee their compatibility wherever possible. These themes have been chosen based on their overall popularity in 2022 - both with Barn2 customers, and more widely.
Storefront - #1 recommendation
Storefront is the official theme at WooCommerce.com and is the theme which we use on all our plugin demo sites. It's our #1 recommendation because it is well coded, lightweight, and has the features you need with no unnecessary complexity. As a result, you will find it very easy to use. It's an excellent foundation for building a reliable website which will easy for you to maintain.
If the default Storefront theme isn't the right look for your website, then you can easily change the design by installing one of the huge range of Storefront child themes. Here's a video from the makers of Storefront:

Themes not listed above
Our plugins are designed to work with any theme, even if they are not listed above. If you discover a styling issue or conflict with one of our plugins, please report it via our Support Center. If we can fix it quickly, we will provide some CSS code for you to add to your website.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to provide complex fixes for unsupported themes due to the size and scale of the theme marketplace. If we are unable to fix the problem, we will discuss the options available to you, including:
- Using one of the recommended themes above.
- Working with your developer to troubleshoot the problem. If you don't have a developer, we recommend posting a job on Codeable and can assist one of their developers as needed.
