Clicking on the product name/image to open the quick view
The 'Opening the Quick View' section of the WooCommerce Quick View Pro plugin settings page (WooCommerce → Settings → Products → Quick view) lets you add quick view links to the product name and image on your shop and category pages.
This is an experimental feature and may not work in all themes. Some themes override the standard WooCommerce behavior for the links to the single product page, which prevents WooCommerce Quick View Pro from changing these links.
This article contains advice on what to do if this feature doesn't work with your theme.
The name and image still link to the single product page
If you have enabled the above setting and the product name and image still link to the single product page, then it means that unfortunately this feature may not work with your theme. If this is happening with your theme, then we recommend the following:
- Temporarily enable a default theme (e.g. TwentyNineteen). If the links work with a default theme active, then this confirms that it's a compatibility issue with the theme.
- Check whether your theme has its own quick view feature. If this is enabled then it may be interfering with WooCommerce Quick View Pro, so we recommend disabling the quick view in the theme. This fixes the problem in some themes but not others, depending on how they are coded.
- Enable the quick view buttons instead. If the product name and image links can't be used to open quick view in your theme, then we recommend adding quick view buttons instead. These provide an alternative way to open the quick view, and you can enable them on the WooCommerce Quick View Pro plugin settings page (WooCommerce → Settings → Products → Quick view).
- Switch to a different theme. We have published a list of compatible themes that we have tested with.

Not working in the product table
The 'Opening the Quick View' options on the WooCommerce Quick View Pro plugin settings page (WooCommerce → Settings → Products → Quick view) only applies to the default shop and category pages provided by WooCommerce.
If you're using our WooCommerce Product Table plugin and want to link the product name or image to the quick view, then you need to enable the option on the WooCommerce Product Table settings page instead (WooCommerce → Settings → Products → Product table).
