How does Barn2 Bundles & Bulk Discounts handle multiple currencies?

Barn2 Bundles & Bulk Discounts uses your Shopify store's own currency settings. The prices and discounts the app shows always match the currency your store is set to, so there is no separate currency option inside the app itself.

The app follows your Shopify currency

Because the app inherits the currency directly from Shopify, you change the currency in your Shopify settings rather than in the app:

  1. Go to Shopify Admin → Settings → General.
  2. Find the Store currency section and choose the currency you want.
  3. Click Save.

The app will then show prices in the currency you selected.

Selling in more than one currency

If you sell to customers in different countries and want each of them to see their local currency, this is handled by Shopify Markets (Settings → Markets), not by the app. Once you have set up your markets and currencies in Shopify, the app follows the same settings and shows each customer the right currency for their region.

Fixing a missing or duplicated currency symbol

The currency symbol shown with your prices comes from your Shopify money format, not from the app. If a symbol is missing or appears twice, edit your money format under Settings → General → Currency formatting. A duplicated symbol usually means the money format already includes a symbol that your theme or Markets setup is also adding, so removing it from one place fixes it.

The app still shows the old currency after I changed it

If your storefront shows the correct currency but the app still shows the old one, it is normally a short sync delay between Shopify and the app. To refresh it:

  1. Log out of your Shopify admin completely.
  2. Clear your browser cache.
  3. Log back in and reopen the app.

It is also worth checking your billing currency under Settings → Billing, as Shopify keeps this separate from the currency shown on your storefront. If the currency is still wrong after this, please contact our support team.
