Can I avoid setting a global lead time?
Yes. You can effectively avoid applying a global lead time, even though the plugin requires you to select a setting.
Why do I have to choose Static or Dynamic?
In the global lead time settings, the plugin requires you to choose either:
- Static (manual) lead time, or
- Dynamic lead time
This selection is mandatory and cannot be left unselected. However, this does not mean that a lead time must always be applied.
How to disable the global lead time
To prevent a global lead time from being displayed across your store:
- Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Products → Lead Time</li>
- Choose either:
- Static, or
- Dynamic
- Leave the lead time field empty (blank)
- Save your changes
As long as the field is empty, no global lead time will be displayed on your products.
What happens if the field is left blank?
- No default lead time will appear on product pages
- Only product-specific lead times (if set) will be used
- The global setting will not override individual product settings
