I needed a plugin to dynamically sort tutorials on three attributes, and found this plugin to be perfect for the job! I searched for free plugins that would accomplish the same thing, and after spending many hours of fiddling around, decided to pay for this plugin - it has been well worth it.
No other Posts Table plugin on the market comes close to Posts Table Pro. It's hard for me to explain why and if you haven't had a few years of experience buying plugins, you won't fully understand. Basically, Barn2 cares deeply about what they put out. Their method to sell more plugins is to make the best plugins possible and let the plugins market themselves. Other authors create terrible plugins, but put thousands of dollars into marketing to make you believe their plugin is superior.
In this WordPress plugin ecosystem, I would argue it's only about 10-14 must-have plugins in your arsenal. Posts Table Pro is one of them.
We needed a way to display a document library in a compact, easy to use fashion. I normally try to use free plugins, but in this case, Posts Table Pro was worth the money because it works very well for this important task. None of the free plugins even come close.
Our online document library is small at the moment, but we expect to be adding more documents over time, and simply having a giant list of document links just isn’t workable - no way for users to search, filter, etc.
Also, the video tutorial was extremely helpful in explaining how to use the plugin to create a document library in conjunction with the Pods custom post creator plugin. Highly recommended!
I bought this plugin to add particular functionality to a client's website. I had found similar plugins, some less pricy and other free but none offered the ease of customization and the tidy tailored layout of this one.
I am also happy to report that support is quickly forthcoming and the one issue I had was dealt with quickly and professionally by Katie. So all in all a great piece of kit and worth its price.
