EDD EU VAT is a necessary plugin, it collects the required data for EU laws compliance, allows reverse-charge, adds the legal mentions in invoices, and generates exports that make it a lot easier - not to say even "possible" to me, as a self-employed - to fill VAT returns each quarter, and EC Sales returns each month.
We were looking for a way to handle EU VAT on our multivendor platform that we run from Finland. The plugin was a perfect solution for us.
Without this plugin, EU VAT compliance would be even more painful. Great stuff!
We've been using the EDD EU VAT plugin ever since it was released. It's one of the easiest ways to handle EU VAT for our WordPress business. The developers are quick to push out fixes when needed. I highly recommend it.
