Document Library Pro

We've tried several document management plugins for WordPress, and Document Library Pro is by far the best one we've used. It has so many great features out of the box and the options to customize are vast. We have quite a few happy clients because of this plugin. :) Highly recommended.

I had over 1800 documents that needed to be available for download, and I searched for a week for the appropriate plugin. After trying a few others, Document Library Pro was the only plugin that met all my needs. I didn't want to have 1800 links on my website, and Document Library Pro's folder design allowed me to create a clean user experience. Support even (promptly) fixed a bug that I found in the import feature. The import feature allowed me to import all 1800 documents into WordPress (from a CSV file), and it took less than a minute!

We purchased Document Library Pro and Password Categories to create an extranet for a client. Both products work well and the training and documentation for the products are superb. We did find ourselves in need of support a few times and were very pleasantly surprised at the responsiveness and assistance provided by Barn2. I wish all plugin companies were this awesome. I previously had a 'document gallery' plugin. Unfortunately the developer has not updated it for over 2 years and it no longer works with the latest versions of WordPress. I searched high and low for a replacement and drew a blank. There are lots of photo/image/media gallery plugins out there but I couldn't find any that handled document libraries (e.g. PDF). I then came across Document Library Pro. It does exactly what I need and I have managed to simplify our website so that menu links to all the various categories of documents are now combined into just one link 'Document Library'. By using folders I have been able to present the library to users in a much simpler and consistent manner. Some of our 'non-computer-savvy' users have commented to me that they really like the new layout and that it's much easier to find what they need. I recommend this plugin with no reservations.

It solves a very irritating and time-consuming problem of document management and access better than any plugin on WordPress. Perhaps even more impressive, is the available documentation and excellent (and prompt) support from the team.

The Document Library Pro plugin has been a "saving grace". We have been looking for more than a year to replace an abandoned WordPress document management plugin that has served its purpose well for a client, but had lost its maintenance team. As it was abandoned it was holding various site updates back, and other options would not offer the right functionality. Now with Document Library Pro our options go well beyond what we originally had! So all around we are extremely pleased with Document Library Pro, and with your excellent support team. No doubt this tool will help many users arrange and present their documents, media, and other resources on the web with ease.
