Creating product samples with advanced quantity rules
The WooCommerce Product Sample plugin comes with a feature to restrict the number of product samples that can be ordered. You can use it to set a maximum number of samples per order, and to choose whether this is calculated globally or per category/product/variation.
For more advanced quantity rules for your product samples - or your products in general - we recommend the WooCommerce Quantity Manager plugin. This gives you far greater control, including the ability to add:
- Different quantity rules for the product samples in each category, product or variation - instead of having the same maximum quantity for all samples in your store.
- Minimum and maximum values that people can spend on samples or other products, instead of setting rules based on quantity.
- Quantity increments - e.g. so that people can buy products or samples in groupings of 2, instead of allowing off numbers.
